The need to create this new product did not arise solely from the request for a racing product, but rather from the actual problem with this valve originally installed in all T-Jet engines of the Abarth-Fiat-Alfa-Lancia group. This valve, being diaphragm-based, does not withstand the high pressure and temperature peaks required, causing it to break and at the same time compromising engine performance both during acceleration and at full throttle (power drops during acceleration).
Some problems also manifest even with an intact diaphragm, but with higher turbine pressures (after ECU remapping).

In the development of the project, we included the possibility for the customer to choose between three types of air discharge

• External discharge. (noisy) ES1
• Internal discharge. (silent) EB1
• Switch version which contains both solutions; open or closed with sound adjustment capability. RESWITCH

The characteristics of our E1 valve are very high, which, in addition to being totally plug and play in both mechanical and electrical/electronic parts, has outstanding features compared to the original product:

• No diaphragm for closure, but a piston made of thermopolymer thermoplastic material for very high temperatures and performance (over 270° so no possibility of breakage);
• Low consumption and high efficiency electromagnet (opening and closing times reduced by 20%);
• Guaranteed and tested operation at 3 bar with 170° incoming air temperature;
• Completely made of automotive aluminum with very low lead content and anodized;
• Rotatable 360° on the support bracket for better positioning during installation;
• IP67 waterproof electrical connector and valve/solenoid body;
• Black color like the original, making it difficult to identify and challenge;
• 2-year warranty on all its parts;
• Possibility and ease of installation even by the end-user;
