The use of wheel studs and nuts allows for easier and quicker wheel installation and removal.
Increasing the track width with wheel spacers, in addition to giving the vehicle a more aggressive look, also increases stability when cornering.
Changing the track width of a single axle changes the vehicle's handling, making it more susceptible to understeer or oversteer. Generally, increasing the rear track width increases oversteer.

The motorsport kit includes a pair of spacers and the corresponding nuts and studs in high-strength motorsport series steel of the appropriate length.
